Harvesting bananas is such a fun and exciting moment!! We don't live in a tropical climate so were a bit surprised that we could successfully grow bananas in our mild climate! It doesn't get very hot in the summer (maybe a few days over 90) but also doesn't get too cold (just a few light frosts each winter).
