Vancouver Island Adventure – Day 2: Mountain Views, Local Flavors & Coastal Crabbing

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of our Vancouver Island adventure! We kicked off our morning with a delicious breakfast at the Timber Room in Crown Isle Resort and Golf Community. After fueling up, we headed to Mount Washington Alpine Resort with hopes of trying the longest zipline on Vancouver Island. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected circumstances, we weren’t able to zip—but we still enjoyed the breathtaking views on their scenic gondola ride.
Next, we had a satisfying lunch at Off the Hook Restaurant before returning to our hotel. One of the highlights of our day was a special tour around Crown Isle Resort, generously given by our friend Joselle, one of the resort’s managers. She showed us the beautiful rooms and the stunning golf course—thank you so much, Joselle!
To end the day, we took a relaxing trip to Fanny Bay and spent the evening crabbing by the coast. It was a peaceful and memorable way to wrap up the day.
