McSorley's Old Ale House in New York City is not only one of the most historical bars in the United States, it's practically a museum. In operation since 1854 (some controversy there, though). Its walls are decorated with innumerable pieces of decor and memorabilia picked up over a century and a half of continuous operation. Have a couple of the house recipe ales and a liverwurst sandwich.
