The Ffestiniog Railway held an event to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Railway under its new ownership and for Railway 200, to go all out, 200 wheels would cross the Cob, first into the station then line up on the cob for photography purposes and to mark the end of the gala.
I would see a bit of this action, I said it in the video, I'll say it again, I do apologise for the wind noise, especially the major wind noise later on, I've lowered the volume to make it more bearable to watch, especially for headphone users.
I would witness the activities around the station, seeing Linda for the first time, aswell as Upnor Castle, certainly see why it's called Uproar Castle!
I saw the Ffestiniog locos head up to Minffordd in preparation for the parade, before heading to Porthmadog, to see the majority of the locos come across, unfortunately the wind got top much for us and so we headed home before the final event. Health came first.
