Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, also has one of the highest AIDS infection rates. The problem could have been a lot worse if not for the work of two innovative doctors at the Gheskio Center in the capital Port Au Prince and a rural project run by the Partners in Health with Dr. Paul Farmer.
