Boko Slams Media Over “False Narratives”
President Duma Boko has taken a swipe at sections of the media, accusing them of spreading misleading stories about alleged tensions between him and Vice President Prince Maele.
Speaking during a public address, President Boko dismissed the reports as baseless, saying: “I would rather go to the bus rank and listen to those folks,they make more sense than the stuff journalists write.”
Boko questioned where the media obtained claims of a rift within the presidency, insisting that his working relationship with Maele remains solid.
The remarks highlight the growing friction between the President and sections of the press, with Boko repeatedly accusing journalists of sensationalism and misinformation.
