Barbra Streisand - Any Place I Hang My Hat Is Home (Lyric Video)

Yet another song I've wanted to do for years now! This song was introduced in the 1946 musical "St. Louis Woman", where it was sung by Ruby Hill. Note, this musical also produced the much more well known song "Come Rain or Come Shine".

Anyway, many artists covered it thru the years including Judy Garland, Rosemary Clooney, Lena Horne, Audra McDonald, and very notably Barbra Streisand.

Relevant to this video, the song was done by Sammy Davis Jr., for whom the arrangement heard here was written. He began performing it in the 1960s, and it was also frequently heard in his act in the late 1980s. It is featured on his 1967 live album "That's All!", and was performed on the 1988 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon (which you can find on YouTube!)

At any rate, I love the arrangement and Sammy's version and have wanted to do it for ages so...here we are! Enjoy!
