We are City Church, we are :
GRACE-ORIENTED.
Grace is a defining characteristic of the Christian life.
Grace orients us in our interactions— with God and with one another.
“It is by grace you have been saved, through faith” (Ephesians 2:8)
RELATIONSHIP-FOCUSED.
Loving relationships are what life is all about—according to Jesus.
“Jesus declared, ’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind… and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments”. (Matthew 22:37-40)
TRUTH-GROUNDED.
The Word of God—the written word (the Bible) and the Living Word (Jesus)—
is the foundation and the bottom line for all we do.
“Your word is truth” (John 17:17)
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us…
full of grace and truth” (John 1:14)
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this
is not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God.”
