Praia da aldeia do Burgau, concelho de Vila do Bispo no Algarve, uma antiga vila piscatória, que atualmente vive sobretudo do turismo, mas que não perdeu o charme do passado, e há quem a chame de “Santorini portuguesa”. Em 2010, Burgau foi eleita pelos leitores do Lonely Planet como a "aldeia à beira-mar mais pitoresca" da Europa.
A sua atração mais notável é a sua praia de caráter urbano, que marca o limite poente do Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina.
O areal estende-se ao longo de uma pequena enseada rodeada de falésias que a protegem dos ventos fortes e que também serve como porto piscatório onde ainda se praticam formas artesanais de pesca.

Burgau beach
Beach in the village of Burgau, municipality of Vila do Bispo in the Algarve, an old fishing village, which currently lives mainly from tourism, but which has not lost the charm of the past, and some call it the “Portuguese Santorini”. In 2010, Burgau was voted by Lonely Planet readers as Europe's "Most Picturesque Seaside Village".
Its most notable attraction is its urban beach, which marks the western limit of the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina.
The beach extends along a small cove surrounded by cliffs that protect it from strong winds and which also serves as a fishing port where artisanal forms of fishing are still practiced.
