A pricking is a very important part of your bobbin lacemaking, without the pricking you won't know where to put your pins and it would be free motion lacemaking.
In this short video, Lou will show you how she creates her prickings using cardboard and blue plastic (sounds like a popular children's show!)
Putting the pricking on card means that your pins will be supported in the pillow and you will also be able to use the pricking more than once, a few times, until the holes won't hold your pins.
