You can skip 2 respawn triggers on the way to the main platform (twice) during this segment, allowing you to jump off and transport back to the other side of the Aerie. Please excuse the sloppy play, I hadn't played in half a year.
This trick was suggested by Replicant 1.22 runner 'Adrianeczko20', as they do something similar in their speedrun.
