Loft Ladder Build and Install: We build a ladder for the loft using a method called housed stringers. In this method the treads are notched into the board using a jig and a router. This ladder is built with plain old 2x8 and 2x6 lumber that you can buy at a home center. We head down to the cabin and try out our new Yamaha x2 850 R-Spec side by side. After driving around for a while we head up to the off grid cabin in the woods and realized that a tree has fallen directly onto our Mitsubishi FUSO FG 4x4 diesel dump truck. We use a stihl MS291 chainsaw to clear the tree out of the way then head up our bush road to the cabin. We set up the cabin inside and talk about what we like about it and how we will use it.
