Grand Conclusion of the 3rd Winter Advance Karate Training Camp for Kata & Kumite at Pasighat

Pasighat, November 13:
The 3rd Winter Advance Karate Training Camp for Kata & Kumite concluded successfully with a grand closing ceremony held at the Outdoor Stadium, Pasighat. The five-day camp, organized by the East Siang District Karate-Do Association in collaboration with the Ajay Karate-Do Academy (AKA), began on 8th November and concluded on 12th November 2025, attracting enthusiastic participation from karate practitioners across the district.

The event was graced by Shri Tamang Tamuk, President of the District Football Association (DFA), as the Chief Guest, Shri Siang Moyong, President of the All Boggong Students’ Union (ABSU), as the Guest of Honour, and Shri Kayang Darang, General Secretary of the East Siang District Taekwondo Association, as the Special Guest. Other distinguished guests present on the occasion included Advocate Vijay Mize, President of the East Siang District Karate Association, and Shri Ajay Chettry, General Secretary of the Association.

A joint press interaction was held with all the dignitaries — Shri Tamang Tamuk, Shri Siang Moyong, Shri Kayang Darang, Adv. Vijay Mize, and Shri Ajay Chettry — along with Head Coach Shri Kyado Talik. During the interaction, they collectively emphasized the vital role of karate in promoting self-defence, discipline, confidence, and physical fitness among youth. They also praised the organizers for their commitment to nurturing young martial artists and urged parents in Pasighat to motivate their children to join karate clubs for proper training.

Coach Shri Kyado Talik, who led the entire training program, expressed appreciation for the students’ cooperation, discipline, and eagerness to learn. He stated that the participants showed excellent manners and respect throughout the camp.

At the conclusion of the program, all participants were awarded certificates of participation by the East Siang District Karate Association. The organizers extended heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, and supporters for making the event a grand success and reaffirmed their dedication to promoting martial arts in the region.
