We’ll take a look at Cape Breton’s easternmost point—an important landmark that gave the island its name. I also talk about Fort Rosemar, a little-known and ultimately unsuccessful Scottish settlement from the 1600s. And to wrap things up, there’s the story of Beryl Markham, a pioneering aviator who made history by flying solo non-stop from England to North America, with a stop in this very area.
