These are not tactics that you can do. They’re traits that you can develop over time. You just need to visualize these traits within yourself and they will naturally arise.

1. Being unreactive. The person who reacts the least is the person who has the highest value. When we talk about reaction, we’re referring to how you react to other people’s actions.

A guy takes control not when you do things, but when you react. The key to being unreactive is to first observe your reactions.

When you meet a guy you find attractive, notice your reactions. When you meet a guy that you don’t find attractive, notice your reactions. Notice the ebbs and flows of your emotional reactions when you’re around certain people.

The first step is bringing awareness into your reactions. When you observe your reactions, he won’t be able to control you anymore.

2. Feeling entitled. Most of our feelings of entitlement come from the outside world. Learn to cultivate entitlement by simply being, not by doing. You don’t need any reason or evidence to back it up. This makes it yours and nobody can take it away.

It’s all about not trying to find a reason why you deserve things. Be entitled to your happiness, not because this or that happened but because of your own awareness of being.

When talking to a woman, if I measure my worth based on what I have in terms of looks and money, I could fluctuate. If I know there’s someone better looking or richer than me, I could lose my confidence. This is because I chose to notice the outside.

It’s not about feeling superior or inferior. It’s about feeling equal.

His reaction doesn’t tell you who you are. If he doesn’t like you, it doesn’t mean you’re unattractive. It’s all based on where your focus of awareness is.

Your focus of awareness is based on what you value most. If you’re focusing on his reaction, it means you value him more than you value yourself.

Go about it from the perspective of presence through self-awareness. Don’t diminish who you are based on other people’s standards.

3. Embrace your weirdness. A lot of the entitlement is because of your comparisons. Being weird is based on other people’s perception of what normal is.

Realize that your weirdness is what makes you who you are. Sometimes, being weird pushes you from everybody else. In this case, being weird is a good thing.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s weirdness is what made him successful. His accent, the way he talks, even his last name are what made him unique from other actors.

Observe your weirdness through awareness instead of suppressing it. Embrace it as much as the other parts of you.

Feel entitled to everything in the world, not because of the qualities you have, but because of the equality of all things.
