En este caso, es la construcción de una maqueta de 1974, de la primera edición de este modelo. Decidí pintar el plástico original amarillo y azul con un aerosol plateado, pero luego me arrepentí. Hubiera sido mejor la técnica a pincel de varias manos de pintura diluida, como en el Douglas DC-2. Al ser un kit de más de 45 años, las calcas estaban prácticamente inutilizables, por lo que reemplacé las rondelas por otras que tenía, del mismo tamaño, y aproveché el descascaramiento de las otras calcas originales para simular el desgaste del tiempo, aunque es algo poco frecuente de ver este desgaste en los aviones estadounidenses. De todas maneras, el resultado final es muy superior al que imaginaba mientras armaba el modelo, luego de ciertas decisiones incorrectas que tomé. Las figuras de los pilotos y las ametralladoras son agregadas por mí.

In this time, it is the construction of a 1974 kit, the first edition of this model. I decided to paint the original plastic yellow and blue with silver spray, but later regretted it. The brush technique of several coats of diluted paint would have been better, as in the Douglas DC-2. Being a kit of more than 45 years, the decals were practically unusable, so I replaced the roundels with others that I had, of the same size, and took advantage of the peeling of the other original decals to simulate the wear of time, although it is something rare to see this wear on American aircraft. In any case, the final result is much higher than what I imagined while building the model, after certain incorrect decisions that I made. Figures of pilots and machine guns are added by me.
