Devkund Waterfall | Shakti Pith | Maa Ambika | Waterfall of Odisha | Incredible Odisha

Debakunda or Devkund is a naturally created pond located in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, India—a part of the Simlipal National Park. The flowing water from an adjacent waterfall has created this pond. There is a temple called "Ambika Mandira" that was discovered by Rajkumar Prafulla Chandra Bhanja Deo, a researcher and a king during British Raj who stayed at Devkund and researched about this place.

Devkund is considered a Shakti Pith, a place of worship associated with the goddess Shakti. Devkund is located at a distance of 50 km from Udala, 60 km from Baripada and 66 km from Balasore railway station.

Ambika Temple: The Ambika Mandira, dedicated to Goddess Ambika, is a major attraction. Goddess Ambika is worshipped in the form of Yoni, a female sex organ, and the temple is a center for worship for Hindus, according to a Facebook post. The pond is considered sacred and is believed to be the bathing place of Gods and Goddesses. The waterfall plunges from a height of 50 meters, forming the Devkund pond. Devkund is located within the periphery of the Simlipal National Park.
