Hello and welcome :)

This is the second of three videos at Johanna Beach, captured right at the waves edge where the powerful waves completely take over the soundscape. Took me a while to find a sheltered spot from the wind to get this recording, but it was worth it to capture that raw ocean power.

About Alexa Soundscape

I ventured into field recording when a desire to incorporate nature soundscapes into my music pulled me toward my first handheld recorder in 2019.

What began as a side hobby soon took front and centre. I fell completely in love with the experience of sitting in a moment, listening and observing the world around me in a completely new way.

After a while I realised how much I wanted to share these moments with others, so I started pulling out my iPhone camera.
