The Decepticons raid the Ark after tricking the Autobots with a distraction, capturing Sparkplug. They use a hypno-chip created by Dr. Arkeville to control him. Their evil plan involves recruiting a workforce to build a space bridge and bring Cybertron to Earth. Natural disasters plague Earth as the Autobots try to stop Megatron. A team of Autobots and Spike heads for Cybertron to save Sparkplug, but they risk a trap. The Autobots on Cybertron evade capture and work to counteract the hypno-chips. Optimus Prime leads the remaining Autobots in a battle to end Megatron’s plan.
