How To Clean A Tarnished Horse Bit

Hi everyone! I got a huge amount of horse tack about a week ago and most of the tack had been forgotten about so it was in really bad shape. But there were a couple of bits that I would like to have as spares, and I wanted to see if I could get them cleaned up.
I didn't want to use chemicals to clean them, so I started searching for a natural way to remove the built up tarnish. I found a recipe for cleaning silver so I thought I would give it a go, and see how good it worked.
It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but it worked! So now I have a few extra bits to use, or maybe sell later on.
