M5StampS3 AirQ - Air Quality Kit - Unboxing

I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this fantastic Air Quality device from M5Stack for over a year. After just a few days of testing, I'm confident it's an excellent candidate for migrating the CanAir.IO firmware to it. I might even consider rewriting it from scratch exclusively for this device.

Here's my review:

M5Stack's factory-demo firmware is very good, wifi and cloud provisioning, a comprehensive summary of all variable sensors, and it works fine on battery mode. When connected to USB, there are some minor display refresh issues, but I anticipate these will be addressed in future updates. The two Sensirion sensors included are among the best low-cost options available for under 50€ each one, making the M5Stack device a worthwhile investment with a favorable cost-to-benefit ratio.

The eInk display boasts fast partial refresh, suggesting the potential for improved firmware with animations or graphics. The display is clear with excellent definition. M5Stack consistently delivers products with a very good low power implementation, ensuring efficient device suspension. This implies promising battery performance, possibly lasting weeks maybe with long time setting between wake-up intervals.

I plan to conduct more thorough testing over the coming weeks and will provide a more comprehensive review. Stay tuned!
