World Record! Not only that, smashing two minute barriers!
I ran this game a lot in 8th grade. I come back to it every once and a while, and check out the ww progress when I do. Just a few days ago I was reminded of this game again - when I checked the most recent record, and saw the bow glitch that was discovered, I had to try it out. Spent the last few days dusting of the chops, and here we are!
The only major contribution this run gives to the route is a way to skip the second stage bear boss. All other time saves came from better movement, and slightly better applications of the bow glitch.
I note at the end of the video that sub 2:40 is possible - but I'll call it now, I think sub 2:35, even sub 2:30 could happen. It all comes down to polishing everything up, and probably a lot of blind, near perfect bow teleports.
