Retired F-16 pilots Steve “Angus” Granger and Kevin “Coconut” Grove share their life-saving experiences using the ACES II® ejection seat system developed by Collins Aerospace, an RTX business. Both pilots were inducted into the Grasshopper Club founded by Collins in 1979 to honor aircrews who have safely ejected using the Collins SIIIS or ACES II® ejection seat systems. More than 700 military aviators have used Collins Aerospace’s ACES family of ejection seats to bail out safely.
