A combined sowing unit KPA-2 includs 2-row drill SMK-2 and a hand cultivator KR-1. This unit has been modernized, namely its special adjustable bracket, which attaches the hand cultivator to the drill.
Now this bracket consists of 2 parts. The 1-st one is bolted to the slat of the drill SMK-2, also another models of seeders like SMK-3,-4,-5 can be used. The 2-nd part of the bracket is the flat part with a groove. Such design allows to adjust the depth both of the drill coulter and the knife which is used for destroying weeds.
This bracket modification makes the application of the KPA unit more convenient and correct.
Our customers who already have had the cultivator KR-1 and SMK drills (SMK-2. 3 4 5) can order the bracket unit and they will get a combined sowing unit KPA, which can simultaneously perform pre-sowing soil cultivation and drilling of small-seeded vegetable crops with an adjustable row spacing from 6 to 24 cm. The seeding rate is regulated by the selection of sowing drums, which the manufacturer offers for different vegetable and small-seeded crops.
