ईसाई धर्म को क्रिश्चिूयन धर्म भी कहते हैं। इस धर्म के संस्थापक प्रभु ईसा मसीह है। ईसा मसीह को पहले से चले आ रहे प्रॉफेट की परंपरा का एक प्रॉफेट माना जाता हैं। इब्रानी में उन्हें येशु, यीशु या येशुआ कहते थे परंतु अंग्रेजी उच्चारण में यह जेशुआ हो गया। यही जेशुआ बिगड़कर जीसस हो गया। आओ जानते हैं जीसस क्राइस्ट के जीवन की कहानी।

ईसा मसीह के जन्म के संबंध में मतभेद है। इस संबंध में हमें चार सिद्धांत मिलते हैं। पहला 'ल्यूक एक्ट' के अनुसार उनका परिवार नाजरथ गांव में रहता था। उनके माता पिता नाजरथ से जब बेथलहेम पहुंचे तो वहां एक जगह पर उनका जन्म हुआ। कहते हैं जब यीशु का जन्म हुआ तब मरियम कुंआरी थीं। मरियम योसेफ नामक बढ़ई की धर्म पत्नी थीं। जिस वक्त ईसा मसीह का जन्म हुआ उस वक्त परियों वहां आकर उन्हें मसीहा कहा और ग्वालों का एक दल उनकी प्रार्थना करने पहुंचा।

Jesus Christ is considered to be a prophet of the tradition of prophets that has been going on since long. In Hebrew, he was called Yeshu, Jesus or Yeshua but in English pronunciation it became Jeshua. This Jeshua got distorted to become Jesus. Let us know the story of the life of Jesus Christ.

There is a difference of opinion regarding the birth of Jesus Christ. We find four theories in this regard. First, according to 'Luke Act', his family lived in the village of Nazareth. When his parents reached Bethlehem from Nazareth, he was born at a place there. It is said that when Jesus was born, Mary was a virgin. Mary was the wife of a carpenter named Joseph. When Jesus Christ was born, fairies came there and called him the Messiah and a group of cowherds reached to pray to him.
