In this video I make a set of engine bay mounting brackets out of 1/8" flat bar stock for an ARB twin compressor and show how I install everything from beginning to end.
I didn't want to have to pop my hood to air up so I ran the main out through the passenger front fender well. I have had zero tire interference/clearance issues so far and I play hard.

I have a cold air intake and I'm not sure how this would work with the factory airbox. You may still get some useful ideas from the the video.

Update 2/2/22
This idea never really failed in that the compressor never became loose or technically overheated. It was however getting too hot under the hood in my opinion. Bear in mind I'm talking mid-summer California desert temps combined with the heat from the engine bay. I found a new solution which mounts the ARB in the rear of my vehicle. I am working on editing that video and will upload it soon.
