Jeff composed "A Little Thought" at the keys with lyrics in 2010. It, and 23 other tunes of that era, were intended for public domain use by himself and others. All were included in the "Ageless Jazz Playbook" Jeff printed and uses to do "drop-in" jazz at coffee shops and restaurants while traveling. Meanwhile, over the past decade or so he has recorded eight other such tunes for inclusion in NPR's "Tiny Desk Contest". Here's Jeff's 2026 submission featuring, in this case, an original jazz ballad multi-stacked on video for display above and besides his own work desk while playing bass and guitar. Each track, by the way, was performed "first take" as though he himself were playing "live" without editing...
