2024 Battle of the Bullring (STSS @ Accord)

The 2K24 Short Track Super Series (North Region) kicks off their season with one of their original races, the Battle of the Bullring at Accord Speedway. 56 Modifieds arrived at the track in hopes to conquer the burtal quarter-mile dust bowl! This year, the race is in honor of Barry Davis, a legendary driver who races his number 9D modified at Accord. To celebrate his career, the winners purse was changed from $5,000-to-win, to a massive $9,090.90-to-win. This change brought all the stars, cars, and fans to the little track nestled in Ulster County.
Bear Racing Vlogs was started as a way to capture and preserve the memory of local, small town short track racing in the northeast. I try to visit as many tracks as I can, "covering" both big races like the Super DIRTcar Series, and small shows like a weekly racing program. Join me as I pitch my tent in as many tracks as possible!
