South Limburg is an area in the South of the Netherlands, located in the province of Limburg.
It has a hilly landscape, especially in the Heuvelland region. These are foothills of the hills of the Ardennes and the Eifel. The highest peaks are slightly higher than three hundred meters. Also there are the so called 'sunken lanes'. As there are many orchards in this region, you can see a lot of blooming trees in the month of April.
