In this video, we explore the Silverdale Branch of the North Staffordshire Railway, a disused and abandoned railway line steeped in industrial history. Once a key part of the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) network, the Silverdale Branch served coal mines ( including Silverdale Colliery ) and local industries across the Stoke-on-Trent area before its decline and eventual closure.

Join us as we follow the abandoned trackbed, that passes below Silverdale & Keele Tunnels, uncovering remnants of old railway infrastructure, including platforms, bridges, embankments, and more. This forgotten stretch of railway once bustled with trains transporting freight and passengers through Silverdale, Keele, and Apedale, but now lies hidden beneath nature and urban expansion.
