Well-meaning busybody Celia crashes the men's ANZAC day gathering, insisting on hearing one of Danny's war stories. Danny mercilessly agrees, telling her the grim story of a young man he saw killed by a land mine. The gruesome tale brings back memories of Celia's late finacé Les, who was also killed by a land mine in Vietnam. Distraught, Celia pours her heart out to Ailsa, and we see a side of her we've never seen before. An extremely touching performance by Fiona Spence, and one of the defining moments of her character.
