No, not Steadfast and True, Ture and Trusty or one of the other more famous ones. "Staunch and True" is yet another, rather inventive, one from the stable of Teike (and also quirky enough for Laurendeau).
While seemingly a fairly standard march, Teike very cleverly brings the 2nd & 3rd Cornets to the fore with a triplet crotchet rallying "fanfare", which in the wrong hands would be totally lost as it requires the "lesser" players to sit right on top of the volume stack for a change.
Later a fanfare "Call and Echo" pattern between the Sop/Horns and the upper Cornets also adds more novel colour to an otherwise fairly typical March.
