28 years ago in Italy, a Symphonic Power Metal band was born. It had this name, and its first album bore this title. This is a small tribute to those years, to that band where I wrote, sang, and played guitar, before the release of Black Metal albums. It was 1997!

I’ve worked in typography, a craft that disappeared with home printers. I ran a VHS and DVD rental shop, then a videogame store, both closed down with the rise of on-demand TV, streaming, and digital platforms. I was also a freelance graphic designer, and years ago I released a few amateur records through the American label blackmetal dot com.
