For a quick holiday, I had planned to explore the jungles in west singbhum district of Jharkhand along with Jungles of Odisha. In my first episode of the tour, you have seen Tensa Nature Camp. On day 2, we left Tensa and went to Barbil. We stayed in Hotel Adhar near Barbil Station. As per our plan, we reached Barbil, put off the luggage in the hotel room and then went to visit Jateshwar Temple.

Jateshwar Temple is located in a dense forest of Kendujhar District, Odisha. Near to the temple, there is a lake. The lake is surrounded by lush green forest. The water of the lake is also clear. After visiting the lake, we went to the temple. Jateshwar temple is a divine place where Lord Shiva is worshipped. Beside the temple, there is a waterfall named after the temple. One can take a bath there and offer prayers to Lord shiva. After the temple visit, we went to Fulbari forest.

Fulbari forest is another forest located in the same district as Jateshwar. The forest area is named after the village Fulbari. It is also dense Sal forest. Inside the forest, there is a Lord Shiva Temple. Locals call it Baba Swapneshwar Temple. There is a 100 meter descend to reach Pundul Falls. There is a breathtaking view of Pundul falls inside the forest.

From fulbari forest we headed straight to Intakes. It's a SAIL property, where a water stream flows through the hills. It is also a great view. After visiting Intakes, we went to Hotel. There we had Biryani in Lunch. Post lunch we went to visit Sri Murga Mahadev Temple.

Like Jateshwar Temple, Murga Mahadev Temple also has a waterfall. The fall has 4 streams, the concept of having this is to provide co bathing space to the followers. You can take bath and then offer prayers to Murga Mahadev Temple. The temple is located in a Hill. From Murga Mahadev, we went to Baitarini River Bed.

Baitarini is one of the quint essential river. You can seat here and enjoy the beauty of the river flow. The day's journey ended here.
