RAJASTHAN Series EP #11: Bikaner to Jaisalmer drive via Ramdevara, ft. Lunch &Chai on desolate roads

Hi Friends,

I present to you, the eleventh vlog of the Rajasthan 2023 series. After exploring Bikaner fort, Hitesh & I went to our hotel, checked out, and started on our drive towards Jaisalmer, with the intention of making a pit-stop at Ramdevara. While driving out of Bikaner, we scouted for some nice place to have lunch as we weren't quite hungry while in Bikaner itself.

While driving towards Ramdevara, our usual banter continued all the way, and we stopped for lunch at a dhaba where we had a scrumptious meal for a reasonable price. We got to see a huge Bengali tourist group who had hired a bus, probably to explore Rajasthan, just like us.

Beyond a certain point, the highway was quite desolate, except for when towns came by, or when a fueling station, refreshment outlet was present. Other than that, the surroundings were quite dry.

We slowly made our way to Ramdevara, and reached there at twilight, but thankfully, the darshan didn't take much time. It was a quick darshan, and the visit was complemented by the peaceful ambience along with a huge pond in the backside of the temple complex.

After this, thanks to a dying battery, I didn't vlog much, and we managed to reach Jaisalmer at around 9:15 pm, that's where the upcoming vlog will continue. Stay tuned.
