This is what we packed for a 5-night New Zealand alpine mountain hunt. We went lightweight, carrying the bare essentials you need to survive in the hills. We talk through all of our gear choices, what we left at home, what we carried, how much it weighs and how it performed on the hunt. We also share a few tips for using and looking after your gear.
