Paddle Boarding Lake Ohrid - A Bucket List Moment We Never Expected

Paddle boarding on Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia: one of the best things to do in this UNESCO‑listed town—and it blew us away. We rented stand‑up paddle boards (SUPs) from a small shop on the Ohrid waterfront (pricing and map in the video) and set out across one of Europe’s clearest, oldest lakes.

Along the way we filmed epic drone shots, captured POV footage, and had a surprise wildlife moment when a snake glided past our boards. After returning the SUPs, we hiked up to the clifftop church of Sveti Jovan Kaneo for a panoramic thunderstorm over Lake Ohrid.
