Roy Wang also known as Wang Yuan 王源, a popular Chinese singer, performed a musical rendition of "Reading the Book of Mountains and Seas " on variety show "Everlasting Classics."The lyrics are from the works of Tao Yuanming (AD 352 or 365–427), a famous poet during the Six Dynasties period. With rhythm and melody, Roy demonstrated the courage and fearlessness of two deities in Chinese mythology, Jingwei and Xingtian, inspiring the younger generation.
