In a powerful morning surge, the pair bring in 21 sticks in under two hours, battling wind, weight, and gravity. Jackie circles twice to gain enough lift. Shadow answers with precision and persistence. Together, they move in perfect rhythm.
A brief mystery unfolds when a juvenile bald eagle makes a sudden escape from a nearby perch, followed closely by an adult. And as daylight slowly begins to stretch longer, hormones will soon awaken, signaling that egg season is approaching.
