1969 verkauften Fleetwood Mac mehr Schallplatten als die Beatles und die Rolling Stones. Ihr Album „Rumours“ aus dem Jahr 1977 gehört zu den erfolgreichsten Alben der Musikgeschichte und ging über 19 Millionen Mal über den Ladentisch – allein in den USA.
