HOW TO PUT ON A FRONT LACE OR FULL LACE WIG AS SEEN ON LADY GAGA, BEYONCE, AND NICKI MINAJ

In this video I demonstrate how to put on a front lace wig, as seen on celebrities such as:
Lady Gaga
Nicki Minaj
Beyonce
and The Real Housewives

The materials used include:
1 x Full lace or Front Lace wig . (This wig is from BestLaceWigs. I am not affiliated with them. I purchased it from them directly as a normal customer).
1 x Wig cap
2 x Thin hair-ties
1 x Roll of Supertape (wig tape)
1 x pair of scissors
1 x bottle of rubbing alcohol
1 x batch of napkins, toilet paper, cotton, or paper towels

Also useful:
Wig glue
tweezers
q-tips

To put on the wig:

Step one: If your hair is too long for the wig cap, secure your hair in braids to pull the hair away from the hairline.

Step two: Put on the wig cap and tuck the hair in flat.

Step three: Using napkins and alcohol, remove the excess makeup and oil from the skin around the hairline and wig cap.

Step four: Cut strips of wig tape and place it down on the hair line, half of the wig cap and half on the skin. Place the strips all the way around the hairline in the front.

Step five: Remove the backing from the wig tape using your nails. If you do not have nails long enough to separate the tape from the backing, try using tweezers.

Step six: Pull your wig on from the back of the head, keeping away any flyaway strands of hair from getting stuck in the tape. Position the wig so it is lined up with the ears.

Step seven: Press the edge of the wig to the edge of the wig tape, so that there is no overlap. Do this for all the edges of the lace around the hair line.

Step eight: Press and rub the lace of the wig into the tape to get a good seal.

Step nine: Brush back the hair from the hairline to expose any areas not sticking. This could be due to too much makeup or oil on the skin, or parts of the tape that had oil transferred from touching your fingers. Any areas not sticking can be re-cleaned with alcohol and q-tips, and redone with fresh tape or you can use q-tips and wig glue directly on the spot, then press and hold for 5 minutes to let the wig glue dry.

Step ten: Inspect your hairline. If it's all good, you can start styling it!
