In diesem Sommer waren wir für zwei Wochen in Israel. Trotz der angespannten politischen Lage (wann war sie das nicht?) ist das Land sehens- und besuchenswert. Die meiste Zeit haben wir in der Negev-Wüste verbracht und ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt, erste Erfahrungen mit der Sony DSC10 RXIII zu sammeln. Sie ist leichter und handlicher als viele SLRs und kann sowohl in 4K filmen als auch Zeitlupen mit 250fps in HD aufnehmen. Bei diesen Clips ist noch nicht alles optimal gelaufen, aber ich freunde mich mit der RX10 an. Nächstes Jahr wird sie bestimmt bei den Filmprojekten mit dabei sein.

This summer we've been for two weeks in Israel. Despite the political tensions the country and its people are worth a visit. We've spent most of the time in the fabulous Negev Desert and I took the opportunity to test the new Sony DSC RX10III. Compared to my Canon SLR's it is lighter, films in 4K and takes slomo's with 250fps in full HD. Not everything went perfect (as you may see) but we're about to become friends. The RX10 will be part of next year’s film projects.
