💉 WHAT IS THIS? PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. platelet rich plasma contains growth factors from your blood to stimulate a #stemcell response. these stem cells help you to grow new collagen and blood vessels, repair and regenerate damaged skin, and help slow and reverse the signs of aging. PRP is taken from your blood and applied or injected into your skin. the PRP facial utilizes the nutrients and growth factors from a sample of the patient’s own blood and combines them with the benefits of microneedling (seen here!) both processes revitalize the skin, leaving it refreshed and rejuvenated—ultimately, the skin is stimulated and produces more collagen.

💉WHAT IT ENTAILS! First, a sample of blood is taken, just like when you get routine blood tests performed. Next, the sample is spun in a centrifuge so that the platelet rich plasma is separated from the blood. After the area to be treated is made numb with a topical numbing cream and thoroughly cleaned and prepped, a microneedling device can be used. this device uses several sterile, ultrafine needles that create small, superficial wounds in a highly controlled way.

💉 DOES IT HURT? I know the procedure sounds or looks scary but with the right amount of numbing, it can be painless and effortless! Mine was 💯 painless! In some areas that more boney like my upper forehead it hurt more but it felt like a verrrrry light tattoo!

💉WHAT IT DOES! PRP can help rejuvenate facial and neck skin, hair restoration & reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, under eye bags, stretch marks and certain types of scars, even acne scars! Collagen production is stimulated, leading to smoother, softer skin and a more “awake” appearance. My skin is really glowing I’m so in love with the results! ❤️
