Ho tribe:
Ho tribe is one of the major tribes of Jharkhand. Among the 32 tribes of Jharkhand, it comes fourth in terms of population after Santhal, Oraon and Munda. Ho tribe has its own special lifestyle and culture. Their own language is "Ho" and the script is Warangchiti.
This is a powerful tribe of Kolhan division. Apart from Jharkhand, they also reside in states like Orissa, Bihar, West Bengal etc.
Festivals, marriages, death feasts etc. are celebrated with great pomp and joy. Welcoming guests/guests especially on special occasions. Mandar welcomes special guests/guests by singing and dancing with Nagara. Ho tribe are nature worshipers and live a life based on agriculture. Their festivals and social activities are based on agriculture.
