Ellen's case has been back in the headlines this week (October 13 2025). A bombshell ruling by Chief Medical Examiner Dr Lindsay Simon recommended the case remain classified as a suicide, despite four experts opining it should be classified as a homicide and documentation of an additional three stab wounds as well as an additional 20 bruises.
