Mulgrave Mill’s Cane Train Activity of 2024! | The Cairns Railfan

Hello everyone! Welcome back to a new video on the channel where I have put together a compilation of various general Mulgrave Mill yard activity over my a few of my visits throughout 2024 last year.

If you're unaware Mulgrave Mill is a sugarcane crushing mill located in northern Queensland, Australia and is owned by MSF Sugar where Mulgrave Mill operates on a 610mm (2ft) railway with the coverage spanning roughly 200km worth of track. Mulgrave Mill utilises just over 15 locomotives throughout their 24/7 operations of the June-December cane crushing season when weather permits. As mentioned this video is simply a compilation of general clips mostly at and around the mill of those operations from last year. More specific videos on Mulgrave's handling of Mossman and Redlynch cane during the season and transports to South Johnstone Mill after the season ended will be featured in later videos since there is much to cover! I hope you enjoy!
