Universal Kids Resort Construction Update - Frisco Texas - August 2025

Panther Creek Parkway has been undergoing a lot of work on this end. Traffic has been blocked from driving westward down the side of the road that Cobb Hill residents have done for the past 17-18 years. They will now finally exit out and drive westward on the newly paved lanes, protected by a median. It had always felt like you were driving on the wrong side of the road.

The hotel has received more paint, mostly on the park side, with much of it finished. Murals have yet to begin, but the blank huge canvases have been painted in preparation for them. This will most likely be the last step in the painting process of the hotel’s exterior. Blue primer has begun being applied to the front (west) side of the hotel.

Yellow ride components have been delivered for possibly the Minions Zamperla Demolition Derby ride. The second Jurassic World Zamperla Jumping Tower post still lies in the storage lot, unlike his brother, who has been installed for some time now. Unsure if it was delivered damaged or what.

A lot more work had been done to the Trollfest Express loading area, and the decorative paint has been added to the rumor “Trollify” building. As construction ramps up, I may consider doing bimonthly videos to capture all the progress. This will depend on schedule conflicts and weather, of course, as well as potential predators. Right before the Bikini Bottom overlay, a hawk was investigating whether I was a threat, or food.
