How Control-IQ Technology Works on the t:slim X2 Insulin Pump

This video provides a brief overview of how Control-IQ™ technology works with your t:slim X2™ insulin pump to help manage your diabetes on a day-to-day basis by predicting and helping prevent both highs and lows. The video explains how Control-IQ advanced hybrid closed-loop technology is designed to help increase time in range (3.9-10 mmol/L)* using Dexcom G6 CGM values to predict glucose levels 30 minutes ahead and adjust insulin delivery accordingly; including delivery of automatic correction boluses† as needed.

† If glucose values are predicted to be above 10 mmol/L, Control-IQ technology calculates a correction bolus using the Personal Profile settings and a target of 6.1 mmol/L and delivers 60% of that value. It will do this up to once per hour as needed.
