The Dovecot Weavers of Dovecot Studios in Edinburgh produced a modern interpretation of a detail from The Miraculous Draught of Fishes, one of the Raphael Cartoons, to celebrate his 500th anniversary. This is the story of how they went about it and the differences in approaches to weaving now and in Raphael's time.
