ever since luke was cast as david i have had this modern au stuck in my head. mostly it was: how can i make a vid with luke and ben together (because i did a vidlet for twitter back in 2017 and now its technically CANON so y'know). and then this happened. honestly, idek but stay with me folks.

i haven't reread ruin and rising (or have i finished kos, ahem), but i do remember genya and david making me cry on more than one occasion. genya is one of my faves from the trilogy; as mentioned before, "the tailor" BREAKS me every time. which is why i had to add it to this. [bangs hands on table] GENYA SAFIN. and honestly, the inside look of her relationship with the darkling, royalty, alina and even ivan? ugh, i'll take a genya pov any time leigh. ANY. TIME. so i mean, this was just a matter of time...

bear with me as i only use 2/3 of the cast - but deborah is my personal fancast and also i could not find much of daisy atm in a modern setting. and i obviously have lots of luke from my arin/kestrel vault, lol. so watch out for more modern au with a mix of six of crows because honestly its everything to me, which maybe 3 other people will care about but LISTEN guys. just binge "our girl", "the punisher" and "free reign" and we'll all be in this pit together i PROMISE.

anyways, not sure how much y'all will like this but hope you're as hyped as i am for luke and ben to share a screen together! i still cannot believe he was cast. and tbh, excited to see what he brings. my boys, my poncho boys.

ps. i heard there is some negativity going in on the vidding community and just wanted to send good vibes and positivity out there. i know in these times vidding has been an outlet for me that has been so creatively fun. and honestly, getting to know more of you guys has been the highlight. so thank you for your kind words, etc. and for sticking through these long af descriptions. i hope you are all staying sane and well. i hope there is a glimmer of hope where you are.
